Roncade Outlet Gallery, located just off the A27 at Treviso Sud, will be the first outlet centre in the wealthy region of Veneto. Owned by LEFIM, a part of Gruppo Basso, the centre is due to open in early 2008 and will include around 18,000m2 of outlet shops, bars and restaurants, all accessed from a covered mall. The project will incorporate stunning new architecture from global retail specialists, Chapman Taylor, a first in a market dominated by traditional village-style centres.
‘Pantheon is proud to be working with LEFIM on this ground-breaking project’, says James Hoddell, Managing Director of Pantheon Retail Italia S.r.l., who is leasing and managing the centre, ‘Roncade is in a terrific location with a young, affluent catchment population of over 6 million people and perfectly complements our first Italian centre at Castel Guelfo. “The project will be formally launched on 23rd March at a stunning ceremony on the exclusive island of San Clemente in the Venice lagune. Pantheon has received huge levels of interest from brands who wish to be present in this key Italian market and confirms that it is already in detailed discussions with a number of luxury and international brands”.
Castel Guelfo itself has been going from strength to strength with new
signings of Ducati, Ferre and Levis bringing the centre to full occupancy and a new phase of 12,000m2 expected to start on site within the first half of 2007, bringing the centre up to over 25,000m2 of GLA.
