Spanish developer Neinver has announced the acquisition of a building permit for its Factory Annopol outlet center project in Warsaw. Located between ul. Annopol, ul. Toruńska and ul. Białołęcka in the capital’s Białołęka district, the scheme will be the company’s second Factory project in Warsaw and also its second-largest outlet center in Poland.
The Factory Annopol project will, according to the developer, be characterized by modern universal architecture that will not differ much from that of traditional shopping centers. The scheme will comprise approximately 14,000 sqm of retail space, with a total of 90 stores as well as a parking lot for 800 cars. Tenants of the planned outlet center will include, among others, clothing and footwear brands Bytom, Ecco, Gino Rossi, Lee, Levis, Reebok, Venezia, Wittchen and Wrangler.
“The Factory Annopol center is already enjoying strong interest on the part of tenants. This is certainly the result of many years of work and the experience of Neinver, which in 2002 introduced the outlet center format to Poland,” Barbara Topolska, general director of Neinver Polska, said in a statement.
“The new Factory center will also be a superb location for its clients – the inhabitants of right-bank Warsaw and its neighborhood, who will no longer have to cross the Vistula River in search of real bargains.”
Factory Annopol is expected to open in 2010. Its developer is already planning to expand the project in the future so that it includes a retail and an office park.
Neinver has been active in the Polish market since 2000 and is celebrating the 40th anniversary of its existence this year. Its flagship retail project in this country is the Galeria Malta shopping center in Poznań.
