Outlet stores near Zagreb are deceiving their customers since their prices, which should be far lower than those in the city, are in fact the same.
The whole concept of outlet stores is lower prices for last year’s unsold merchandise, but prices are the same as in the city at the outlet stores, according to the daily "Jutarnji list."
The only reason they can call themselves outlet stores is they are filled with cheap clothes of very poor quality. Customers are aware of the deception, and the stores are therefore not earning enough money.
Management of Roses Fashion Outlet has ordered stores in its outlet centre to cut their prices and announced it will compare prices between stores in Zagreb and in the centre.
It added it had hired private detectives to find out whether prices in outlet stores were lower than in the city.
