Nike To Open At Festival Park

Festival Park, Branded Outlet Shopping, Ebbw Vale is delighted to announce that Nike, the world’s leading sports brand, is taking a 8,000 sq ft unit for a Nike Factory Superstore.

Nike is the world’s leading supplier of athletic shoes and apparel and a major manufacturer of sports equipment. They sponsor the worlds leading sports personalities like 2010 Wimbledon champion Rafeal Nadal and Tiger Woods. The new unit, set to open in autumn 2010, represents a major coup for Festival Park, creating 22 new jobs and follows the recent brand openings of Marks & Spencer and Gap at the Centre. This fantastic news follows the recent opening of the longest supertubing run in the UK and Red Dragon’s adventure castle.

The 8,000 sq ft store will stock authentic Nike products including footwear, clothing, and accessories for men, women and children. As at other stores at Festival Park, shoppers will benefit from very significant savings on RRPs. Ian Sanderson, Director Chester Properties, said: "Festival Park is delighted to have secured Nike as a major tenant, especially given the substantial size of the unit. The Nike Factory Store further underlines our ambition to continue to provide visitors with a first class shopping and leisure experience.

FSP supported the letting by summarising key catchment statistics, positioning Festival Park within Nike’s existing estate, identifying similar centres and highlighting the strong fit between shopper demand and Nike customers. The Nike deal follows hot on the heels of lettings to Gap and M&S.
