Neinver, leading European real estate company in development, investment and management of assets, is the third most important outlet operator in Europe, according to the latest ICSC ranking (International Council of Shopping Centres).
The company, of 100% Spanish capital, currently manages 172,000 m² in Europe, distributed among 10 centers in Spain (4 centers), Portugal (1), Italy (2) and Poland (3). In this way, Neinver strengthens its position as the reference in the European outlet market, becoming the third most important operator in Europe and the Nº1 in Spain and Poland.
In 2008 the company has begun the second phase development of its Wroclaw Factory (Poland) with 3,000 m² and a 10,000-m² extension of GLA in its Vicolungo Outlets in Italy. In September Poznan Factory (Poland) increased its retail floor space by 10,000 m² to 15,500 m² in total, with 120 stores, along with Madrid’s Getafe Factory which inaugurated its third extension. Also in Poland the Wroclaw Futura Park, a retail park comprising 20,500 m² of GLA, was opened to the public.
Innovations for MAPIC Neinver, with its strong international presence, is also a key player in the retail sector through the retail projects that it develops and manages in Europe, guaranteeing its presence at the XIV edition of the most important European trade show of its kind in the industry, MAPIC which will be held between the 19th and the 21st of November.
The company will use this prestigious industry event to present its forthcoming retail projects, verifying its strength in the market and its sustained commitment to its expansion plans. The company will consolidate its position as the third most important outlet operator in Europe and market leader in Spain and Poland through the development of all of these projects, which will raise the total GLA managed by the company to 700,000 m².
In March 2009 Galería Malta, a leading edge model for the latest generation of retail centers, will be opened to the public. This mixed development comprises 153,000 m² of floor space and is divided into three levels, located on the shores of Lake Malta, and very close to the center of Poznan, one of Poland’s major cities.
Coruña Airport Factory, located in the Galician town of Culleredo, will be the fifth Neinver outlet center to be launched in Spain, with 18,200 m² of GLA and over 80 stores which will significantly ramp up the retail offer in the North West region of the country.
Across the border in neighbouring Portugal, Porto’s Nassica Vila do Conde will offer a new comprehensive concept, on completion of its second phase, with 82,000 m² of GLA comprising a business park, a Factory outlet center (inaugurated in 2004), retail parks, bars and restaurant areas.
Krakow Factory is the company’s fourth outlet center to be launched in Poland, taking the outlet concept to the city of Krakow with 19,000 m² of GLA and 100 stores showcasing top high street Polish and international fashion and accessories brands. Also Annopol Factory will become the second outlet centre in Warsaw and the fifth in Poland, housing 90 stores over a total retail area of 14,000 m² of GLA.
Krakow Retail Park is another of the important retail projects that Neinver is developing and managing in Poland thanks to its combination, on two levels, of a Factory outlet centre (on level 2) and a retail park (on level 1).
