Land Securities has appointed Deepan Khiroya to manage its factory outlet portfolio, including Gunwharf Quays in Portsmouth.

Khiroya will be a portfolio director in the retail portfolio management team, reporting to Mark Ashton, head of retail portfolio management.

He joins from Aprirose Real Estate Investment and has also worked at Isis Property Management and ASDA Property Holdings.

Ashton said that the factory outlet portfolio had made major progress in recent years and hoped for further growth under Khiroya’s management.
