Henderson buys MCArthurGlen portfolio

Through Project Swan three designer factory outlets, developed and managed by McArthurGlen, were put on the market in February 2008 by a group of institutional investors with an asking price of £400m. On 22 August, Henderson, with debt funding from Bayerische Landesbank, completed the purchase for £364.5m, which reflected a net initial yield of 7.1%, for its new UK Outlet Mall Fund.
