Gap to anchor Springfield

Chester Properties, on behalf of UBS Triton Property Fund, has secured Gap Outlet to anchor the £11m extension to its Springfields Outlet Centre in Spalding. The US fashion brand has taken a 10-year lease on a 6,500 sq ft store at the centre which will total 155,000 sq ft when fully open.

Amongst other new signings are handbag label Tula, lingerie shop Leia, and fashion label Klass. Existing occupier Marks and Spencer has taken an extra 3,284 sq ft of trading space.

Annual base rents of £27.50 per sq ft plus turnover top up rents have been achieved in the expansion. Knight Frank and NB Real Estate are joint letting agents.
