Enna (Italy), 100 million euro investment in Factory Outlet Village

The 25 thousand square metre Factory Outlet Village planned for the Enna area will have 100 stores, snack bars, innovative services and 2,200 parking places. Project investment amounts to 100 million euros; there will 600 employees and another 150 jobs in induced businesses. Work is scheduled to start in October and the shopping complex is expected to open to the public in March 2010. The Sicilia Outlet Village, designed by the architect Guido Lorenzo Spadolini, will be built in the municipality of Agria and will offer the most famous international brands in fashion. The project will be coordinated by Premium Retail, a company belonging to the Percassi Group that was set up last April. Presenting the project, Stefano Stroppiana, managing director of Premium Retail, underlined the potential of the market’s 4 million residents within ninety minutes of the Outlet and 14 million tourists a year.
