The Outlet retail park in Banbridge, County Down, reported that sales in the week starting 24 November were 21% higher than the same week last year as cross-border shoppers flock to Northern Ireland.
The £70m scheme – developed by GML Estates, its parent company, Orana Group, and Land Securities – said 55% of weekend shoppers are from across the border, attracted by the weak pound and lower VAT rates.
